Join Kathy Sward from Kathy Loves Quilts to learn how to turn your worn out jeans or other items into your favorite clothing or accessory!  You'll learn to hand-stitch fabrics directly onto your chosen piece.  Kathy will provide fabric scraps, or you can provide your own!  A variety of stitch techniques will be taught, including running stitch, whip stitch, blanket stitch and cretan stitch.  Examples of jeans turned into fun-to-wear works of art will be on display for inspiration.

No experience necessary!  You'll leave with a take home kit to finish your jeans & start any other projects.  The kid will include: thread, needle and assorted patches for your next up-cycling creation, as well as an information sheet of the stitches taught.
